Summary of Duties- Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
- Monitor and document patient progress in a timely manner, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies to improve recovery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
- Comply with federal, state, and professional regulations.
- Document all assessments, plans, procedures, and pertinent interactions regarding the patient’s treatment in a clinic electronic documentation system.
- Contribute to the efficient running of the clinic by working together as a team and assisting others when needed.
- Keep all patient interaction confidential with the informed consent of the patient.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program; current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist; CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical experience; experience in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
- Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical processes and responsibilities.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, coordinate, and perform a broad variety of tasks and stay focused on the objective in a high-stress environment.
- Work for extended periods at a video display terminal and will be required to use a keyboard to enter and gather information.
- Physical activity including but not limited to bending, reaching, squatting, lifting and prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Required to work at the IRG clinic and be responsible for your own transportation to and from the work site.
- Base Compensation: $80,000 – $93,000 depending on experience and certifications.
- Enhanced Compensation: therapists can earn up to an additional 20% of their base salary.
