Position SummaryThe Administrator II – Contract Administrator will lead all aspects of contract production and execution, focusing on ensuring compliance with federal, state, county, and departmental requirements. This includes managing contract reviews, technical quality assurance, and approvals for accounts receivable and payable, as well as oversee other professional contracts. Additionally, the role involves developing Requests for Proposals/Qualifications, bids, Memoranda of Understanding, and Inter‑Local Agreements.
The position plays a critical part in ensuring financial stewardship and compliance and contributes significantly to the smooth operation and success of Public Health's programs and initiatives.
The Health Sciences Division provides robust assessment and evaluation work and population health strategies to influence Public Health with a focus on community conditions through data, evidence, and emerging best practices in partnership with the community. The duties of the Health Sciences Division include working with community partners to address the root cause of health disparities and improve population health outcomes;
providing the functions of assessment, epidemiology, and program evaluation; and advancing health equity in the community through strategies at the individual and environmental levels that promote protective factors and reduce risk for chronic disease, injury, and violence. Health Sciences is dedicated to improving the health and well‑being of residents through innovative, evidence‑based programs, and services.
Public Health – Seattle & King County ("PHSKC") is the Public Health Department for King County, Washington which includes 39 cities, including the City of Seattle, and unincorporated areas.
