CT Technologist

CT Technologist – Swedish Hospital, Seattle, WA

• Operate a multi-slice CT scanner and perform technical imaging procedures with independent judgment.
• Utilize power injectors and monitor equipment to administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast under physician direction.
• Initiate and manage IV access, provide exemplary customer service, and communicate findings as needed.
• Engage as part of a multidisciplinary team, maintaining a positive approach and attitude.
• Apply radiology technology experience to diagnostic X‑ray and fluoroscopy procedures.

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist – Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• Within one year of hire:
  National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

• Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year in a CT scan department.
