Job DescriptionThis position requires performing radiological technical procedures for breast disease diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting, either fixed or mobile. The technologist produces high-quality radiographic images and interacts with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Responsibilities include performing quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and FDA, serving as designated Quality Control technologist if directed, and depending on location, utilizing general radiography skills for diagnostic exams, bone densitometry (DEXA), or other breast-related procedures in conjunction with physician staff.

Responsibilities- Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Produce high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner.
- Execute required quality control activities per MQSA and FDA regulations.
- Serve as designated Quality Control technologist when directed.
- Utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic radiology exams, bone densitometry (DEXA), and breast-related procedures as needed.
- Formal radiologic technology training program meeting American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) requirements.
- On hire:
Washington Radiologic Technologist license. - On hire:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. - On hire:
National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - Within 1 year of hire:
National Registered Technologist – Mammography.
- At least 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
