Medical Dosimetrist; CMD

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a Medical Dosimetrist to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Seattle VA Medical Center located at 1660 South Columbian Way. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

• Perform dosimetry functions under MDCB certification
• Receive direction from VA Radiation Oncologist and/or Medical Physicist
• Design treatment plans (SRS/SRT, Hyper Arc, IMRT, SBRT, 2D/3D, IGRT)
• Assist with simulations and tumor localization (CT, MRI, PET‑CT fusions)
• Oversee fabrication of beam‑modifying and immobilization devices
• Implement treatment plans and verify correct use of devices
• Perform and document dosimetric calculations
• Support Medical Physicist in QA, calibration, and radiation protection

• MDCB certification
• Minimum 2 years of continuous recent experience
• Experience required:
  • 2 years: QA procedures documentation
  • 1 year: ACR/APEX certified healthcare system
  • 1 year:
    Varian True Beam with Rapid Arc
  • 1 year: IGRT with Cone Beam CT (TG‑142 standards)
  • 3 years:
    Eclipse planning system, ARIA system (SRS, SRT, SBRT, IMRT modalities)
  • 3 years: GE CT Simulator (or equivalent)
  • No sponsorship available

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
