The Program Manager III — Medical Equipment Planner

Plays a key role within the Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) team, overseeing the planning, budgeting, procurement, of medical equipment for capital projects. This position ensures equipment needs are effectively coordinated with internal stakeholders, design teams, and vendors while maintaining compliance with standards and timelines. The role supports multiple active projects and is essential to avoiding delays, budget overruns, and procurement errors, ensuring consistent project delivery and improved operational efficiency.

Responsible for management of a specific, highly complex program or group of highly complex programs in a specialty/functional area including scheduling and budgeting activities. Works in collaboration with leaders to implement the program’s objectives in support of identified goals and the continuous improvement process. Monitors the program’s effectiveness, mobilizes stakeholders, and leads interdepartmental activities ensuring ongoing effective program operation and/or implementation.

Identifies strategic opportunities to enhance or expand the program, develops plans, presents proposals to management, and manages the execution of initiatives essential for the success of the program.

Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, health care or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seven (7) years experience in a lead role overseeing program/project management.
  • Five (5) years experience working on quality and process improvement projects with cross-functional teams; including data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Proven record of leading large project teams through project completion, program planning, execution and status reporting.
  • Demonstrated successful experience working with vendors, consultants and other purchased services.
  • Knowledge of Lean concepts and methods.
  • Experience representing program in management meetings with executive–level program stakeholders.
Required Credentials
  • NA.
Preferred
  • Masters in Health Administration, business, or health care-related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Awareness of current and emerging trends in project management technologies, techniques, issues and approaches.
  • Experience working in public health, health care or social services.
Compensation Range

Salary information: $ – $ per year. This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided. Disclaimer for Out of State Applicants:
This compensation range is specific to Seattle. Positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
