Physical Therapist Assistant PositionWe are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.
Duties & Responsibilities- Implement selected components of patient interventions, obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications to progress the patient or ensure patient/client safety and comfort.
- Provide quality physical therapy services including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient’s physical therapist.
- Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist’s prescribed course of treatment.
- Communicate the patient’s treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow‑up when necessary to team members, as appropriate.
- Educate and counsel patients regarding issues related to treatment and goal(s), safety risks, and/or other issues within scope of practice.
- Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
- Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License.
- Current CPR certification.
