Speech Language Pathologist - Inpatient – Providence

The speech-language pathologist (SLP) delivers and supervises others in the delivery of services in the areas of communication, cognition and swallowing. Upon physician referral the speech-language pathologist will perform evaluations and develop individual plans of care to maximize functional outcomes, implementing the plans of care, reassessing treatment results, and actively participating in discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including all disciplines, the patient and their significant others.
Provision of services for pediatric adolescents as well as for both inpatients and outpatients may be required. These services are delivered in compliance with Swedish Medical Center standards, national and professional standards, state practice acts, and current accepted state of the art practice.
- Master's Degree in Speech/language pathology from an accredited program
- Washington Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Related experience.

Base pay range: $46.57 - $72.29 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, bonuses, extra shift incentives and more.
