Interim Controller

This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
• Manage preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support audits, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Evaluate existing accounting systems, controls, and procedures; recommend and implement improvements.
• Partner with leadership to analyze financial performance and support decision-making.
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, banks, and other partners.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred).
• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller role
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
