** Alumni & Stakeholder Engagement has an exciting opening for a Finance and Administration Business Partner. This is a full-time, permanent position.
** The Finance and Administration Business Partner (FABP) will lead the comprehensive financial administration and operations for the Alumni & Stakeholder Engagement (ASE) organization. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Administration & Operations, this position will provide broad fiscal coordination, strategic fiscal and operational planning, and analysis for ASE and its affiliated organizations. This position will lead and oversee the development and management of the University of Washington Alumni Association’s (UWAA) annual $10M+ budget.

This role requires the ability to be both a strategic thought partner as well as manage the day-to-day administration and transactional duties for the organization.

* What You Will Do:

*** Finance Management and Administration
** Lead and oversee the development and continuous management of UWAA’s annual $10M+ operating budget.
* Provide broad fiscal coordination and administration for ASE and the UWAA, ensuring compliance with UW and UWAA financial policies and procedures. This includes:  + Monthly reconciliation of all staff Procurement Cards and the unit’s Central Travel Account (CTA) card  + Contract review and coordination  + Oversight and facilitation of internal funding transfers  + Management of UWAA corporate credit card  + Review and approval of travel arrangements for all staff within the unit  + Invoice payment for Executive Suite and Board of Trustees
* Partner with organization leadership on monthly revenue and expense reconciliation and reporting; ensure budgets are on target throughout the budget period; identify and understand budget variances; and elevate significant variances to executive leadership.
* Prepare finance and budget reports, presentations and forecasts for the UWAA Board of Trustees and UWAA Executive and Fiscal Governance Committees.
* Strategic Fiscal Planning, Operations and Leadership
** Develop long-range revenue and expense projections and forecasts. Advise strategies to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources and long-term financial health for the organization.
* Lead the UWAA’s annual comprehensive budget development process. Work with individual program leads on program revenue and expense estimates and make recommendations to executive leadership on strategies to address variances.
* In partnership with Assistant Vice President, develop and implement financial procedures, guidelines, and analysis for Ana Mari Cauce Welcome Center facility, to be opened in 2028 and administered through Alumni & Stakeholder Engagement.
* Other duties as assigned

* Minimum Requirements:

** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar AND six (6) years of relevant experience in finance, budgeting, accounting and/or unit administration, or related field.
