Finance Manager, AWS Networking, AWS Networking

AWS Finance seeks a Finance Manager to join the Networking Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Network Engineering and Supply Chain teams supporting key investment decisions, developing controllership around various FP&A processes and providing valuable finance support for new initiatives. A successful candidate will be a self‑starter who dives deep into data and supports thoughtful decision‑making, is able to build scalable processes, is detail‑oriented, and has the ability to work well with cross‑functional teams. The candidate will be working closely with business finance teams and senior leadership across AWS Infrastructure and will be leading end‑to‑end processes around key planning and reporting cycles.

• Facilitating financial review meetings with senior business and finance leadership to support decision‑making.
• Maintain, and improve, existing finance processes to ensure data integrity, efficient and insightful analysis.
• Play a critical role in cost management, controllership, business case development, decision‑making, and metrics development.
• Uses solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders.
• Driver controllership around new initiatives such as Generative AI investments, automation projects, and technology transition initiatives reporting.

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance) experience.

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience.
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience.
• MBA, or CPA.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
• 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience.
• 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
