Accounting Manager III

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager III to join our team in Seattle, WA. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing accounts payable processes and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and support reporting activities.

- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain departments to maintain accuracy in financial transactions.

- Monitor and manage fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

- Work cross-functionally with various departments to streamline accounting practices and improve efficiency.

- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to align with organizational goals.

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Provide regular updates and reports to leadership regarding financial performance and operations.

- Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in accounting functions.

- Support project management initiatives related to accounting and finance systems.

Requirements - Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or related fields.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its advanced functionalities.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and across functions.

- Experience with procurement, supply chain logistics, and fixed assets.

- CPA certification is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies and PMP certification is a plus.
