The Role

We are building the finance function from the ground up and are seeking a high-impact FP&A professional who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. This role requires strong financial statement fluency, advanced modeling capability, and the ability to translate complex development and leasing assumptions into clear, decision-ready financial insights with various scenarios and sensitivities analyzed. The ideal candidate is curious, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a startup environment where processes are still being built, and tools and systems are in their infancy.

The ideal candidate will also be adept at working with and communicating among various altitudes of the organization and in collaboration with our private equity partners to optimize capital deployment decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for data center development projects and portfolio-level forecasting, informing project and portfolio level balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies
  • Research and benchmark among other data center developers and hyperscalers
Capital Planning,Budgeting & Forecasting
  • In partnership with development, construction, and operations, lead project portfolio annual budget and rolling forecast processes
  • Track actual vs. budget performance, analyze key drivers to variance and their impact on project returns
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity sponsors
KPI & Performance Management
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators
  • Monitor liquidity, capital deployment, and covenant compliance
  • Support board, lender, and tenant reporting requirements
Strategic Support
  • Assist with debt financing efforts
  • Support business development, such as M&A and new market expansion analyses
  • Build, Improve, Automate FP&A processes and reporting tools
Experience / Knowledge / Skills
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record in FP&A role with direct experience in real estate development, digital infrastructure development, construction, or private equity.
  • A strong proficiency in financial modeling and fluency in financial statements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills through data-driven analyses and the ability to clearly present conclusions, identifying risks and mitigations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at various altitudes of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to support the scaling of finance functions for an enterprise in growth mode, embracing change and ambiguity while driving sound decision making.
  • Success working as a team member in a demanding, fast-paced and high-quality environment,
  • Contribute to building a positive culture.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this position will be $175,000 - $250,000. Pursuant to any applicable law or regulation, the anticipated salary range may include a performance-based discretionary annual bonus. Factors that may affect a candidate’s starting pay within this range include geography, skills, experience and other qualifications for the role. This full-time position is eligible for generous benefits, including health, dental, and 401 (k).
