Global Risk Management and Claims (GRMC), a branch of Treasury & Risk Management, oversees Amazon's sophisticated, global insurance programs. GRMC's scope encompasses critical insurance programs that protect Amazon's operations across all businesses and regions worldwide.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the GRMC Controllership & Compliance team. This role interfaces with stakeholders across GRMC, Finance, Accounting and Tax teams.

• Manage month end financials, tax filings, and management reporting.
• Provide guidance and variance analysis to peer finance teams.
• Drive automation of manual processes.
• Build planning and forecasting for GRMC’s annual insurance policy renewal cycles.
• Develop reporting and dashboards for leadership decision making.
• Maintain and communicate allocation methodologies.

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.

• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages.
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
