We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Supply Chain Finance team. You should be passionate about producing financial analysis enabling management to make breakthrough decisions, drive cash flow, and ultimately delight our customers. This role will own critical forecasting processes for server capital expenditures and drive strategic financial insights through data analysis. You should be comfortable with working with ambiguity, diving deep into detail, and be able to communicate the story behind the numbers effectively to both financial and non‑financial audiences.
Key Job Responsibilities- Drive financial planning and cost controls for GenAI server deployments, including weekly volume performance tracking and rate reporting to close information gaps amongst stakeholder teams.
- Design and implement metrics, reports, and ad‑hoc analyses to highlight key factors impacting product costs.
- Build and maintain intuitive spend models enabling real‑time rate impact analysis for commodity managers and supply chain partners.
- Establish and track cost savings opportunities by analyzing high‑value parts and identifying lower‑cost alternative procurement options.
- Own end‑to‑end financial planning and cost control for Outpost product line.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- MBA or CPA
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience with operations/supply chain
- Experience of working in dashboards in tableau

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
