Finance Manager, AWS Services Finance FP&A

AWS is seeking a Finance Manager to join the AWS Services FP&A team.

The successful candidate will provide cross‑functional support across multiple teams and initiatives, developing key financial models and insights required by senior leadership to inform long‑term strategic decisions regarding Services revenue. This role will help drive better visibility and insight into the success and efficiency of all Service businesses and be responsible for owning the AWS Services revenue processes, working with teams to reduce complexity, drive systemic automation, and creating new tools and mechanisms that lead to more informed decision making from Services.

• Be the key finance partner for Services revenues supporting 200+ AWS Service business unit teams across AWS
• Own AWS Server revenues work streams, conveying the overall AWS story to business and finance leadership
• Manage critical revenue processes, such as monthly/quarterly financial reviews (MFRs), quarterly forecasts, and planning cycles (short‑term and long‑term)
• Think on behalf of all AWS Service finance teams to invent and simplify planning and reporting processes
• Proactively communicate across the AWS Service finance teams to coordinate a complex and interconnected series of deliverables

• 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science); or a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance)

• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, root‑cause analysis, and creating/implementing escalation plans
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
• MBA, CPA, or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making
• 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
• 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
• 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
