Client Services Associate

The SMA Client Service team partners with portfolio management, operations, trading, and distribution to deliver a best‑in‑class service experience for all clients. We are seeking a Client Service Associate to support our growing business. The ideal candidate has experience in a collaborative financial services, RIA, or broker‑dealer environment and demonstrates a strong commitment to operational excellence and high‑quality client service. This role is primarily internal‑facing, focusing on transactional accuracy, administrative support, and ensuring smooth operational workflows across multiple client channels.

• Set up new accounts, process change requests, and execute cash raises across RIA and client accounts
• Provide operational support and data entry for onboarding and ongoing account activity
• Work with multiple client types including direct/retail investors, broker‑dealer platforms, institutions, and advisors
• Support internal client communications via shared team email, ensuring a white‑glove service standard
• Review and respond to reconciliation items such as delinked accounts, negative cash balances, and newly created accounts
• Contact custodians regarding service‑related inquiries and generate required custodian paperwork
• Run and maintain client information in CRM systems (Salesforce)
