is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst on the Amazon Music Finance team. In partnership with business, operations, and technology teams throughout Amazon, this position will drive strategic initiatives to improve financial reporting and customer experience through automation, process improvements, and defects prevention. This role will engage with executive leadership and cross functional teams to drive results.

The successful candidate will have the ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables. The right individual will have strong leadership skills and solid business acumen capable of driving results and improving processes. They will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment.

• Driving planning and budgeting and related deliverables, and ensuring financial discipline and compliance.
• Prepare financial metrics, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish.
• Provide controllership over several variable costs of the business.
• Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances.
• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analysis.
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
• MBA, or CPA.
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

• Strong leadership skills and solid business acumen.
• Ability to tackle multiple projects and efficiently execute deliverables.
• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team.
• Advanced use of SQL for data mining.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
