* Position Overview:

** The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for taking incoming leads, managing the lead tracker, and following up to schedule client consultations with the Loan Officer. In preparing the loan pre-approval, the Loan Officer Assistant pulls and analyzes applicant credit information, and reviews income and asset documents. As a member of the sales team, the Loan Officer Assistant requests and obtains referrals from current and potential CCM clients and follows up with prospects consistent with established best practices.

* Job Responsibilities:

*** Take incoming leads for the branch.
* Schedule initial consultations.
* Meet branch objectives specific to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals.
* Attend branch events to assist Loan Officer in building clientele.
* Complete and maintain branch-assigned checklists, prospect follow up, file set-up, and analyses within allotted branch deadlines.
* Request and obtain referrals from current clients and realtor partners.
* Run automated underwriting (DU or LP).
* Issue pre-approvals consistent with DU or LP findings.
* Available to work overtime, if needed.

* Qualifications and Skills:

*** High School Diploma or equivalent.
* NMLS License Preferred but not required.
* Minimum 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience – real estate or mortgage industries, a plus.
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
* Experience working with Encompass, DU, and LP, preferred.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
