About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join Twitch’s Commerce Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Commerce Finance, you will work closely with business partners across Finance, Product, Strategy, Accounting, and Data Science to enhance our payment fee structures, identify and size cost savings opportunities, and provide data‑driven insights to guide profitable product decisions. You will own the forecasting process, deliver management reporting, and build ad hoc financial models in support of Commerce payment fees and margin.
The successful candidate will design new processes, enhance existing reports, and build new models that provide actionable insights to the business. You can work in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, Seattle, or New York. This role will produce analysis and reports that directly contribute to decisions by our executive team, CFO, and all levels of finance leadership.
- Own end-to-end forecasting, reporting, and analysis for Commerce payment fees and margin
- Analyze payment processor performance and fee structures globally to identify cost optimization opportunities and support vendor negotiations
- Develop and maintain detailed margin models that quantify the impact of changes in payment mix and product initiatives on overall profitability
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and scenario analyses to guide profitable business outcomes
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Accounting, and Engineering to evaluate new opportunities and influence roadmap decisions

- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to distill complex analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of successful business partnership
- Proficiency building financial models in Excel / Google Sheets and familiarity with data tools such as SQL and Tableau
- Strong understanding of the P&L and GAAP principles
- Experience in Tech/Media, particularly with subscription-based business models
- Experience with payment processors or margin analysis
- Experience with AI automation
