Associate, Finance and Strategy - Product, Payment Platform

The Finance & Strategy team accelerates the growth of our business by implementing new opportunities and solutions. We partner with teams across the company to improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of our business model. We’re looking for people who can model the future, and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution.

We are looking for an Associate eager for a fast‑paced, high‑impact role to work with cross‑functional partners across Door Dash to improve our overall billion‑dollar Payment Strategy. As part of our Product Finance team, you will collaborate across Ops, Product, and Eng teams to ensure we are making efficient, data‑driven decisions. You will partner with teams across the business to support financial decisions that involve one of the most critical parts of our business, by evaluating effectiveness and developing creative ways to improve financial & real‑world outcomes.

We’re

Excited About You Because
  • 1‑3 years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high‑growth technology sector or well‑established company
  • Experience managing budgets for various teams
  • Intermediate Excel and SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn). Able to build financial models to improve our understanding of the business through this process

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the range below. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. In addition to base salary, compensation includes opportunities for equity grants.

  • National base pay range (U.S.): $87,000—$128,000 USD

Time Off Details
  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week); paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week).
