Debt Capital Market Administrator I
Columbia Bank is seeking a dedicated professional to provide middle‑office support to Debt Capital Markets (DCM) programs. The successful candidate will manage transaction documentation, file maintenance, and data input while exercising judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.
Responsibilities- Administer the Debt Capital Markets Department, including Customer Level Interest Rate Hedging, Syndications, and Asset Sales programs.
- Document, close, and maintain files for swap transactions, syndicated loans, agency services, and asset sales.
- Analyze data, coordinate the sales process, and act as a liaison with customers, attorneys, and loan administration teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for third‑party review and prepare files for timely audits.
- Demonstrate compliance with bank regulations and complete required annual or job‑specific training.
- Keep abreast of regulation changes, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, and Bank Security.
- Coach, mentor, or train others as a subject‑matter expert and embody Columbia Bank’s corporate culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience (required).
- 2–4 years of relevant loan administration and/or capital markets experience (required).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial, as well as commercial real estate lending.
- Familiarity with commercial finance, documentation, accounting, and data systems.
- Ability to administer a complex commercial loan/DCM portfolio.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related business software.
Pay range: $82,000.00 – $. Compensation will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
Location:
1111 Third Avenue, 29th Floor, Seattle, WA 98101. The position requires full‑onsite presence at the posted location.
