Finance Manager, AWS Sales Finance
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to join our AWS Sales Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with business leaders, develop financial models, and support strategic decision‑making across Amazon.
Key Responsibilities- Lead short‑ and long‑term financial planning.
- Build financial frameworks and models for new business ideas.
- Provide strategic partnership to key business initiatives and investments.
- Present financial summaries and business insights to senior management.
- Tighten internal controls for program spending and revenue accrual.
- 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
- 6+ years of building accurate financial models and analysis that drive business impact.
- MBA, CPA, or other advanced degrees.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL and experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos).
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- 7+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets for business decision‑making.

Compensation for this role ranges from $85,900 to $179,500 per year, depending on geographic market.
