Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager for a consulting engagement. This role will focus on month‑end close processes, financial reporting, and SOX testing. The position offers a chance to contribute significantly to financial operations with the potential for extension or conversion to a full‑time role.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end‑to‑end financial processes, including recording journal entries and performing reconciliations.
- Conduct and review balance sheet account reconciliations, addressing and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide analytical reviews and fluctuation analyses to support periodic financial activities.
- Identify internal control gaps and implement necessary controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month‑end close.
- Minimum of 2 years Big‑4 experience.
- Experience with SOX testing.
- Have been through a system implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
