Our highly configurable and scalable tech stack also supports partner banking, enabling companies to embed banking transactions into their customer online experience.

Position Summary

Senior Relationship Manager (RM) is a strategic, client‑facing role responsible for managing high‑value commercial relationships and driving complex lending solutions. This position requires deep financial acumen, strong credit expertise, and a proven ability to develop and grow a portfolio of commercial clients. The Senior RM acts as a trusted advisor, delivering customized financial strategies that support clients’ objectives. This role involves building strong relationships, understanding financial needs, structuring complex credit requests, and driving negotiations in collaboration with other Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, and internal stakeholders.

The position is based in downtown Seattle and requires full‑time, in‑person work.

Essential Duties
  • Lead relationship development with key commercial clients and strategic partners.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and deliver value‑added solutions.
  • Originate, structure, and negotiate sophisticated credit deals including term loans, lines of credit, asset‑based and transactional credits.
  • Oversee and engage in complex credit analysis and underwriting, ensuring sound risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage a portfolio of high‑value commercial accounts, ensuring profitability, credit quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and proactively manage risk exposure within the portfolio.
  • Drive new business acquisition through targeted prospecting, networking, and referral partnerships.
  • Represent the Bank at industry events and in the community to enhance visibility and brand reputation.
  • Mentor junior relationship managers and credit analysts, contributing to the team’s development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and client experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; higher education preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in private or commercial banking, or wealth management, with 5+ years as relationship or portfolio manager.
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, loan structuring, and financial products; deep experience with commercial credit underwriting.
  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and a high‑goal motivation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information and influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success managing high‑value commercial relationships and achieving revenue targets.
  • High energy, composure under pressure, strong point of view, and low ego.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and projects effectively; organized and detail‑oriented.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel, and quick learning of other relevant business systems.
