A company is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Designer (EIT).
Key Responsibilities Support the mechanical design of transit stations, tunnels, and maintenance facilities, focusing on HVAC and ventilation systems Assist in preparing contract drawings, specifications, and technical documents Perform engineering calculations and system modeling under the guidance of senior engineers
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering EIT certification required; PE licensure is a future goal 0-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably with HVAC or ventilation systems Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and relevant codes (NFPA, ASHRAE, NYC building codes) Enthusiasm for learning and working in a collaborative team environment
