CAD Technician

We’re partnering with a leading technology company to find a skilled CAD Technician to join their industrial manufacturing team. This on-site role offers a temporary opportunity lasting over a year, ideal for professionals experienced in translating conceptual designs into production-ready layouts within factory environments.

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD for industrial layouts and facility designs.
• Convert rough sketches and ideas into precise technical drawings.
• Create factory layouts that incorporate production equipment, material flow, and operational constraints.
• Assess equipment placement proposals and offer best practice recommendations.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams to ensure practical and feasible designs.

• Advanced skills in AutoCAD, including 3D modeling capabilities.
• Practical experience working in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of production machinery such as die cast machines, stamping, molding, and assembly systems.
• Understanding of material flow, ergonomics, and equipment access considerations.
• Ability to evaluate layout feasibility and communicate effectively to challenge impractical design ideas.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
