We are seeking experienced Thermal/Mechanical Engineers to build the next generation of our cloud platforms. Our success depends on our truly innovative server infrastructure; we’re handling massive scale and rapid integration of emergent technologies.

What you will do:

As a member of the Hardware Engineering Mechanical/Thermal/Robotics (MTR) Engineering team you’ll be responsible for the design of our server platforms. You’ll provide leadership in the application of new cooling and mechanical technologies to large scale server deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, challenging position, and you’ll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas.

You’ll have relentlessly high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you’ll be constantly looking for ways to improve your products performance, quality and cost. You’ll need to understand when a change in technology enables a completely different way of approaching server design. We’re changing an industry, and we want team members who are ready for this challenge and want to reach beyond what is possible today.

You will demonstrate a working knowledge of mechanical and thermal systems, with experience in systems integration of complex server products. You’ll have the desire to learn from new challenges and the problem solving and communication skills to work within a highly interactive and experienced team. Candidates must show a hands-on passion for their work and be able to communicate their ideas and concepts both verbally, and visually.
