Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring Weight Operations Tech Analysts (
Associate or Experienced
) to support initiatives within the Weight Operations Team in Seattle or Renton, WA
.
As a Weight Operations Tech Analyst, you will support the commercial airplane programs by managing and analyzing weight data throughout the aircraft’s development and production. This role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimize aircraft performance. With a focus on accuracy and detail, you will play a vital role in maintaining effective weight control initiatives.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level
2) and Experienced (Level
3) Weight Operations Tech Analysts.
This is a first shift position, working 3 days on 12‑hour shift.
Position Responsibilities- Develop inventory equipment lists, conduct inventories, weigh aircraft, determine center of gravity of aircraft, and document results
- Prepare Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual
- Balance flight control surfaces
- Develop standard flight load planning and help direct airplane loading of variable load elements
- Assist in the inspection of aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight and location of variable load elements on airplane gross weight and center of gravity and prepare flight manifests for pilot’s signatures and flight release
- Weigh and determine the centers of gravity of components and assemblies
- Resolve routine problems with equipment, components and weighing systems
- Work under general supervision
- 3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ year of demonstrated experience with technical analysis
- 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office suite
- 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1+ year of experience in operations or maintenance of aircraft
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Experience with aircraft weight and center of gravity estimation, calculation, verification and statistical analysis
- Experience in Loadmaster training

2): $60,300 – $73,700. Summary pay range:
Experienced (Level
