A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Field Engineer - Hyperscale Data Center
.

Position type:
Fulltime - Contract role
Duration: 5+ Months (Possibly extension or hire)

Location:

Rosemount, MN

• Ensure safety compliance and promote company core values.
• Participate in RFP reviews; analyze plans, specifications, and bid packages.
• Support Project Managers with delivery, reporting, and issue escalation.
• Suggest process improvements and mentor/develop colleagues.
• Interact with customers throughout project lifecycle; maintain relationships.
• Provide oversight for subcontractors and coordinate acceptance/signoff.
• Lead telecom design validation; resolve conflicts via RFI.
• Manage project reviews (constructability, value engineering, design clashes).
• Implement dashboards/tracking systems for visibility into progress and productivity.
• Coordinate with superintendents on installation methods, labor, and manpower.
• Support QA/QC; validate test results (OTDR, Power Meter) and maintain redlines.
• Ensure deadlines are met and scope aligns with contracts/work orders.
• Drive change management; identify scope impacts and communicate with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of construction industry experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, estimating, and engineering practices.
• Ability to develop project schedules and identify change events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, and construction tech platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with structured cabling and/or data center projects.

• OSHA-30 Hour certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• BICSI certifications: TECH, OSP, RCDD.
• Experience managing large-scale telecom or cabling projects.

Pay Range: Between $45 - $48 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
