Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed. At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
As part of a hardworking team you will work as an Electrical Power Systems(EPS)
Engineer within the Avionics team on the Crewed Lander.
EPS scope includes power generation, storage, regulation, control, and distribution to vehicle subsystems and payloads.
This position will specifically focus in on Power Management and Distribution (PMAD), providingoversightand guidance to ensurecomponentlevel design meets vehicle needs.
Thiswill directlyimpactthe history of space exploration, and your dedicated commitment and detailed attention will further the cause of safe and repeatable spaceflight.
You will write your respective subsystem's functional and performance requirements, lead/support integrated analysis, and plan the verification and validation campaign to ensure safe and reliable operations in space. You will alsorepresentyour system in cross-functional trades and impact studies for architectures and vehicles that you support.
