Summary:
Causeway Geotech Limited is a geoscience and ground-investigation contract company that operates under the Woocheen group. Causeway is committed to supporting Sealaska’s ocean-health focus and helps support a wide variety of projects including offshore windfarms, water treatment, coastal planning, and more. As the HSEQ fellow, you will have the opportunity to assist with the implementation of the HSEQ management controls and procedures within Causeway Geotech Ltd.
Your role will be to complete assigned work to the best of your ability, ask questions to move forward and work within proposed timescales. Along with the rest of the team, you will help deliver projects for clients on small to large-scale construction projects.
- Balance all HSEQ matters
- Provide support to devise and maintain procedures, processes, standards, and specifications
- Assist with site inspections
- Conduct accident investigations along with the H&S team
- Assist with audits as required; provide support to plan and report on audit findings
- Support the management practices to ensure that working conditions are favorable and safe
- Opportunity to work on company-wide project with other Causeway interns
- Able to both collaborate with a team and work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a Sealaska shareholder, descendant of a shareholder, or spouse of a shareholder
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be 20 years old at time of hire
- Must be currently enrolled in post-secondary school/program or a recent graduate (1-2 years)
- Must have some knowledge or interest in Environmental, Health, and Safety
- Completed courses in Occupational Safety, Public Health, Risk Management, Environmental Health, or Environmental Engineering
- At least a 2.5 GPA
- Strong critical thinking and research skills
- Self-starter with ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Completed at least one year of the Sealaska Internship Program
- Complete online application at by January 11th, 2026, to be considered for the first round of application review.

Physical Demands- Must be able to perform computer-based tasks and processing for up to 8 hours, including sitting or standing, mousing, interacting with information on a computer monitor.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
- Occasional travel to construction sites
