Position OverviewKiewit Building Group is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead estimates exceeding $30 million for vertical buildings across commercial, education, sports, mixed‑use, multifamily, government, and healthcare markets. Responsibilities include managing a team of estimators, developing win strategies, presenting estimates to executive management and clients, interpreting documents, soliciting subcontractors, analyzing drawings and specifications, value‑management, reviewing proposals, and preparing cost estimates for various work types (including self‑perform).
Responsibilities- Lead a team of estimators and engineers in pursuit of projects.
- Task management, strategy development, resource leveling, and estimate close‑out processes.
- Communicate and present detailed estimates to executive management and clients.
- Analyze drawings and specifications to understand project scope.
- Review and assist with proposals and other documentation to prepare cost estimates.
- Become proficient with Kiewit’s estimating program, "InEight Estimate".
- Lead and strategize subcontractor and vendor selection processes.
- Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Undergraduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or another engineering discipline verbose.
- At least 5 years of estimating experience.
- Ability to lead multiple estimate teams.
- Highly motivated golfing acceptance for excellence and initiative.

This position is based in the Kiewit Building Group office in Federal Way, WA. Some travel may be required for pursuits in other geographical regions and offices.
Base Compensation$171,000 / yr – $179 asafi 00 / yr
