This position supports Blue Origin’s Operations functions—Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security—and provides centralized engineering support across all Blue Origin facilities.
Responsibilities- Translate engineering intent, drawings, and configurations into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight.
- Improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequence throughout the manufacturing process.
- Create, interpret, and modify work instructions and routings to convey procedures to technicians.
- Trigger material planning and support cross‑functional teams.
- Participate in projects that include manufacturing process development, optimization, and implementation.
- Collaborate with design and systems engineering teams on integrated materials and process solutions.
- Minimum of a B.S. in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- Degree earned within the last year and able to start by Fall 2026.
- Demonstrated ability in component fabrication, precision assembly, and testing using a variety of methods, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures.
- Relevant internship or co‑op experience that demonstrates development of technical skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain professional relationships, and strengthen an inclusive culture.
- Capacity to work independently and in a team on rapid development programs.
- Flexible, adaptable mindset and self‑driven pursuit of requirements with minimal direction.
- Experience with fabrication, machining, and rate production, including brazing or machining.
- Use of industry‑standard CAD tools (Creo, CATIA, or Solid Works) to design or interpret drawings and models.
- Understanding of torque theory, strength of materials, static/dynamic loads, and vibrations.
- Participation in production flow and process optimization projects, including early lifecycle prototyping.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Ability to write clear work instructions and interpret technical documents.
- Familiarity with tooling design and use in manufacturing settings.
- Basic coding ability (e.g., Python) for process automation or data analysis.

Compensation Range- CO applicants: $69,015.00 – $96,621.00
- WA applicants: $75,289.00 – $
- Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long‑term disability, 401(k) with up to 5% match, and an Education Support Program.
- Paid Time Off:
Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company‑paid holidays. - Potential bonus eligibility subject to company discretion.
