The Boeing Company – Boeing Product Security Engineering (PSE) seeks a Manager (Level K) to join our Risk Management Capability (RMC) and lead product security capabilities in support of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) onsite in Seattle, WA or Everett, WA
.
- Develop and enhance the enterprise OT Vulnerability Management Program to deploy OT‑aware scanning and patching tooling across targeted OT environments such as production equipment, facilities, and labs.
- Lead the team in response to product security threats, vulnerabilities, incidents, and queries across commercial airplane platforms.
- Lead the design and development of onboard security event detection mechanisms, partnering with systems engineering teams.
- Lead the development and deployment of security log guidance and analysis tools for BCA customers.
- Lead the development of security event response guidance for BCA customers.
- Oversee BCA PSE response to customer service requests and inquiries.
- Oversee PSE risk assessments of BCA platforms.
- Oversee maturation of IRVM and event detection processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Manage employees developing, implementing, and sustaining product security and resiliency throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals.
- Acquire resources for projects, provide technical management, and lead process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Manage, develop, and motivate employees; drive employee performance development, hiring, and staffing projections.
- Support external engagement, including interfacing with airline customers, government, and aviation industry stakeholders.
- Flexibility to manage statement of work across North and South Puget Sound locations; some travel required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent qualification directly related to the work statement.
- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, product security, network security, and/or cybersecurity.
- 3+ years of experience in leading or managing technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge in network security or cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of or experience in airplane systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Project management experience.
- Experience working with airline customers, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software engineering, electrical engineering, certification, network security, and/or cybersecurity.

Pay & BenefitsSalary range: $165,750 – $224,250. Total Rewards include competitive base pay, variable compensation, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and other benefit programs.
Additional InformationRelocation is available based on eligibility. Export control compliance requires a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15. The position is not safety sensitive and does not require a security clearance. Visa sponsorship is not available. This role is not contingent upon award program.
