Position: HELP WANTED: Building Performance Analyst
HELP WANTED:
Building Performance Analyst

360 Analytics is a consulting firm specializing in building performance analysis, and we are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our team. Our work covers a broad range of services, including:

  • Performing analysis and providing recommendations to clients to optimize building design for energy and water performance.
  • Energy modeling for LEED and other green building certifications.
  • Utility bill analysis, measurement and verification, and other evaluations of actual building performance.
  • Energy code compliance assistance.
  • Development of simulation-based compliance software and other tools to automate the modeling process.

Motivated, creative, and detail-oriented individuals with an interest in energy analysis for various building-related applications are encouraged to apply. We are currently hiring for two positions, depending on applicant qualifications and experience.

Analyst I

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge of fundamental thermodynamic principles.
  • MS in Mechanical Engineering and working knowledge of building systems, or 2 years of experience in analysis or design of building systems.
  • Experience with energy modeling software such as eQuest/DOE-2.2 or Open Studio/Energy Plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and data analysis/reporting software.
  • Strong communication, research, and interpersonal skills.
  • EIT certification.
Senior Analyst

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge of thermodynamics.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing building mechanical systems or related analysis.
  • Experience managing energy analysis projects independently, including client communication and reviewing entry-level work.
  • Proficiency with energy modeling software such as eQuest/DOE-2.2 or Open Studio/Energy Plus, and MS Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or eligible to sit for PE exam.
Additional Skills and Experience (Applicable to Both Positions):
  • Knowledge of programming languages like Ruby or VBA.
  • Experience with analysis tools such as Radiance, WINDOW/THERM, CFD.
  • Building energy auditing or commissioning experience.
  • Familiarity with building energy codes like Washington State/Seattle Energy Code, California Title 24, and ASHRAE 90.1.
  • Architectural, HVAC, lighting, or plumbing design experience.
  • LEED AP certification or familiarity with green building standards.
