Job SummaryAs a Radar Algorithms Engineer at MORSE, you will develop novel radar, physics, and statistical models for advanced tools used by the U.S. National Security Ecosystem. Your role will cover the full algorithm development lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment and testing.
Responsibilities- Develop and own radar algorithms throughout their lifecycle, including conception, development, documentation, deployment, and testing.
- Process and analyze raw radar data, focusing on IQ‑Samples.
- Simulate and validate algorithmic performance using dynamic systems.
- Present technical work through white papers, analytical test reports, and oral presentations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms into software solutions.
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Proficiency in Python for algorithm and software development.
- Strong background in physics, mathematics, and statistics with experience in radar algorithms and simulations.
- Background in RF applications, with experience in software‑defined radio (SDR) preferred.
- Experience with radar systems, including continuous‑wave (CW) radar, Doppler radar, and pulsed radar.
- Experience with multi‑frequency continuous radar (MFCW) or multimodular radar is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the differences between pulsed radar and CW radar.
Salary range: $90,000 USD – $210,000 USD. Total compensation may include bonus, stock, 401(k) match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
