The Facilities Mechanical Engineer I will support the design of new infrastructure and buildings under the guidance of a licensed engineer. This role is ideal for a candidate who has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and has the ambition to eventually obtain a Professional Engineering license. The successful candidate will assist in the production of design and construction documents, contributing to the delivery of high-quality mechanical engineering solutions.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Support the design of new infrastructure and buildings under the supervision of a licensed engineer.
* Assist in the production of design and construction documents, including mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design alignment with project goals and objectives.
* Conduct research and provide support for mechanical design solutions and concepts. For systems including HVAC, Chilled Water, Compressed Air, etc.
* Prepare and review mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with project standards.
* Support the coordination of project schedules, budgets, and resources.
* Stay informed of industry trends, technologies, and advancements to contribute to project innovation.
* Prepare for and pursue a Professional Engineering license after gaining the required experience.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members on best practices and design principles.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
* Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
* Proficiency in mechanical engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced engineering technologies.
* Familiarity with sustainable design principles and practices.
* Previous internship or work experience in a mechanical engineering firm.### Compensation Range for:
