About This RoleWe are looking for senior or mid‑senior level electrical engineers to lead the design, prototyping, and testing of our drone systems. The role focuses on circuit design, power distribution, sensor integration, PCB development, and ensuring high performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Own hardware development from specification to manufacturing, including design, prototyping, testing, and production.
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, perception, controls, and manufacturing teams.
- Design and validate flight hardware and test setups.
- Define design architectures and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
- Document design analyses, test results, and data‑driven decisions.
- Work closely with product partners to meet design intent and customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the electrical engineering team.
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer, or related engineering.
- Proficiency with industry‑standard layout and schematic capture tools and PCB design best practices.
- Experience developing PCBA for digital embedded systems (MCU, SoC, FPGA).
- Expertise in power regulation and delivery systems.
- Knowledge of embedded interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART) and high‑speed interfaces (MIPI, DDR, PCIe).
- 10+ years designing aerospace, robotics, automotive, or consumer electronics.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with UAV/UAS electronic systems for commercial or defense.
- Familiarity with international supply chains.
- Experience designing for shock, vibration, humidity, and thermal environments.
- Skill with Xilinx FPGAs and firmware development.
- Proficiency in signal and power integrity simulations.

Base salary range: $110,000 – $230,000. Compensation may vary based on experience and location.
