The role also oversees training initiatives and large-scale events that support collaboration between industry experts and academic partners.

This team manages relationships with external standards boards related to film and video initiatives. The group partners with universities and external organizations to review research programs, define project goals, and oversee publication efforts connected to industry research. The team also conducts risk assessments related to publishing, patents, and research activities. Twice annually, the group organizes science summits that introduce new program requirements and provide training for scientists and research contributors.
The role operates in a highly independent environment with significant visibility and collaboration with academic partners and executive stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external standards boards for film and video initiatives
- Build partnerships with universities and coordinate academic research collaborations
- Review research programs and develop project goals with academic partners
- Oversee publishing activities related to research and film/video initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments related to research publications and patents
- Present research publications and program updates to executive leadership
- Identify and coordinate intern support for research initiatives
- Organize and execute large-scale events and summits at studio and headquarters locations
- Lead training sessions and introduce new requirements during biannual science summits
- Onsite role
- Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
