Position Description
The Physics Department at Seattle University invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty member for spring quarter 2026 to teach one section of calculus-based introductory mechanics, PHYS 1210. The course meets in-person on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:55 am to 12:20 pm, from March 30 through June 10. Final grades are due by June 17. The instructor must also be available on campus for office hours.
Qualifications- Master's degree in physics or a related discipline; or bachelor's degree plus three years of graduate study in physics
- Demonstrated interest or experience teaching at the college level

- Salary Range: $5,500 to $6,250
