Job Summary
As an Emergency Department Educator RN, you will lead the development and delivery of nursing and clinical education programs across our organization, supporting both foundational and advanced practice. Your role is vital in promoting professional growth and ensuring high care standards.
Responsibilities- Conduct needs analyses to identify immediate/future education needs and develop programs that meet those needs in compliance with city, county, state, federal, and The Joint Commission guidelines.
- Consult with service lines and department management to identify development requirements.
- Create, write, update, and modify written and multimedia education modules, programs, curriculum, course outlines, and lesson plans that align with overall course objectives and participant needs.
- Incorporate delivery of care and clinical techniques to address special population needs in educational offerings.
- Conduct and evaluate education/training programs and activities to ensure they meet identified learning needs, including classroom training.
- Implement programs in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and three years of Emergency Department RN nursing experience in the designated specialty area demonstrating requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse License.
- Basic Life Support – CPR certification.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
