Seattle Colleges is looking to hire Student Orientation Leaders in the Seattle Promise Department.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00/hour.
Summary
Seattle Promise is hiring 30-40 Student Orientation Leaders to support on-campus orientation activities in August and September 2025. If you are passionate about helping other students succeed in college, this is the job for you!
Students who were enrolled at some point in the 2024-25 academic year are encouraged to apply, with preference given to students who graduated in 2025 and/or who are enrolled at North, Central, or South Seattle College for fall 2025.
Interviews for this position will be held July 7, 8, and 9, 2025.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00/hour and you should expect to work 32 hours per week, on campus, July 28-September 18, 2025.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a regular basis. The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas.
What you will be working on:
* Lead groups of new students (and sometimes families) through on-campus orientation activities, tours, and sessions.
* Serve as a knowledgeable resource for students and their families, answering questions about campus resources, services, and policies.
* Lead activities, discussions, ice breakers, and campus tours, ensuring students are experiencing an inclusive event.
* Represent the college;
Student Orientation Leaders present positively and professionally to students, families, and campus partners
* Interns will be required to attend on-campus trainings in July/August to prepare for the orientation programs and are expected to be present at all Orientation events, August 12-September 26, 2025.
* Expect leadership experience, and professional development in the areas of group facilitation, student affairs leadership, and professional organization skills.

* Seattle College student in the 2024-25 academic year, with preference given to students who graduated in 2025 or who are enrolled in fall 2025.
* Must be able to attend (paid) in-person training July 28-August 8, 9am-5pm Monday through Thursday.
* Must be able to support on-campus Orientation Programs at their college (North, Central, or South) from 8am-6pm:
* North dates:
August 27, August 28, September 17, September 18
* Central dates:
August 12, August 13, August 19, August 20, September 4, September 16
* South dates:
August 21, August 26, September 3, September 17
