Due to staff retirement, St. Luke School is enthusiastically seeking a School Business Manager starting July 1st, 2026 (training would begin in mid to late June 2026). This is a full‑time position.

St. Luke Primary Years (PYP) and Middle Years (MYP) offer co‑ed programs in Preschool through Grade 8, welcoming students from around the world. We are a fully authorized International Baccalaureate World School delivering IB programming to all our students.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Business Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the mission of St. Luke Catholic School by overseeing the school's financial and operational functions. This position requires collaboration with the School Finance Commission and involves quarterly reporting to the Parish Finance Council. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the school's Catholic values.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Financial Management- Develop and maintain the annual budget in collaboration with the Principal and the Finance Commission
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee accounting processes
- Assist with tuition management and financial aid requests
- Present quarterly financial reports to the Parish Finance Council
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Supervise day‑to‑day administrative operations to ensure efficiency
- Work closely with the parish/school bookkeeper for accurate accounting
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of staff
- Prepare annual covenants and work agreements for teachers and staff
- Administer payroll and employee benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and diocesan policies
- Work closely with the School Finance Commission on financial planning and analysis
- Provide regular updates to the Principal and Parish Finance Council regarding the school's financial status
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives to support the school's mission and goals
The Business Manager should have experience in financial management, preferably in an educational or non‑profit setting.
Skills- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Understanding of Catholic school operations and a commitment to the school's mission
Salary range: $34‑$45 per hour. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
