Overview
On-site position in Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ. $100,000 annual salary, distributed weekly. Health benefits begin on day one. Relocation assistance provided.
Alpha Schools replaces traditional textbooks and lectures with adaptive AI-driven learning and mentorship at the student level. Each child advances at an individual pace. Your role is to guide students toward recognizing their capabilities, not to recite predetermined lessons. This position requires high-caliber professionals ready to direct that excellence toward reforming an outdated system. Paper grading and rigid curricula are not part of your work.
Instead, you will facilitate workshops, spark intellectual engagement, and demonstrate that education has no limits when students take ownership of their learning.

What You Will Be Doing- Engaging with K-2 learners as a trusted mentor, cultivating rapport and encouraging a growth-oriented mindset
- Leveraging AI and adaptive educational platforms to customize individual learning trajectories
- Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops (including public speaking, goal-setting, and collaboration) that equip students for sustained achievement
- Cultivating an environment of curiosity, aspiration, and continuous improvement
- Supporting students in discovering their unique strengths and passions
- Available to work on-site at one of our locations:
Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ - Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching, or comparable roles
- Excellent public speaking capabilities, with proven ability to captivate and energize young learners
- A commitment to connecting with, inspiring, and motivating K-2 students
- Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
- Capability to participate in a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
