Circuit Stream is a leader in future technology skills training and learning content. We offer world-class educational services for teen and adult learners with a focus on the skills needed to leverage immersive and emerging technology.

The Youth Experience Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Circuit Stream summer camps, ensuring that both students and staff have a smooth, safe, and educationally enriching experience. This position involves a variety of tasks, from administrative support to direct interaction with students, parents, and program partners. This is a temporary full-time role for 7 weeks from June 22 to August 7, 2026
. A Coordinator will be hired for our summer programs at University of Washington Seattle Campus (at Alder Hall and Poplar Hall). The typical schedule is 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Camp Operations Oversight:
    Oversee the day-to-day operation of the camp, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Camp Operations Oversight:
    Ensure that daily logistics, including the setup and breakdown of the camp, are completed on time and effectively.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    Assist with administrative tasks such as setting up the camp daily, completing camp reports, and following up on absent campers.
  • Documentation:
    Ensure all students have submitted the necessary waivers and documentation before attending camp.
  • Safety:
    Monitor safety protocols during all camp activities to ensure the well-being of all students, and respond to any safety-related incidents promptly.
  • Health & Emergency Protocols:
    Ensure that all health and emergency protocols are followed, including maintaining proper documentation for any medical needs or allergies.
  • Staff Readiness:
    Ensure all staff are familiar with the camp’s procedures, expectations, and safety guidelines.
Team Lead Responsibilities
  • Act as the team lead for your assigned campus, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and that the team is working cohesively.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all camp staff including Instructors and Teaching Assistants (TA) and assist with any logistical challenges that may arise.
Instructor and Teaching Assistant (TA) Support
  • Partner closely with instructors and teaching assistants to support instructional quality, classroom engagement, and consistent delivery of the curriculum.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise with instructors, TAs, or students to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Serve as the first point of support for instructional delivery concerns and observing sessions to identify opportunities for improved student engagement.
  • Reinforce instructional expectations, classroom standards, and learner-first practices.
Student Experience Monitoring
  • Provide daily updates to the Student Experience Specialist regarding student satisfaction, areas of concern, and any feedback that may need attention.
  • Address any issues promptly and work to resolve them to ensure a positive camp experience for all students.
  • Conduct daily classroom observations for the Education department by monitoring engagement, clarity of instruction, and student participation.
  • Capture learning-related feedback from students and instructors.
  • Document feedback on curriculum content, activities, pacing, and learner comprehension to support continuous improvement of the program.
  • Record observations in a standard format provided by the Education team.
  • Attend all weekly virtual campus check-in meetings
Parental Engagement
  • Engage with parents to provide updates, answer questions, and address any concerns regarding their child’s experience at the camp.
  • Maintain clear communication with parents throughout the duration of the camp.
Coordinator of Extracurricular Activities
  • Coordinate and manage extracurricular activities and special events, ensuring they align with the camp schedule.
  • Ensure that guest speakers, panelists, and tour guides are well-informed of their schedule and responsibilities. Handle any delay or logistical issues that arise.
