Are you an experienced and joyful educator passionate about early childhood development? ​ Join our team as a Pre-K Teacher and help create an engaging, nurturing, and inviting environment for children to explore, wonder, and think critically and creatively. ​

We are a play-based program inspired by Reggio Emilia, guiding children with caring engagement and encouragement. ​ Our intentional work environment values diversity and fosters strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. ​

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ​
  • Responsibilities:
  • Plan environments to provoke children's thinking. ​
  • Maintain an attractive and engaging classroom. ​
  • Document children's progress based on their curiosities. ​
  • Ensure compliance with regulations. ​

Qualifications:

  • Respect for children with a joyful and present attitude every day. ​
  • Ability to create a dynamic environment where play and learning thrive. ​
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. ​

Requirements:

  • Cleared Portable DCYF background check before start date
  • CPR/First Aid certification. ​
  • Bloodborne pathogen training. ​
  • Food Handler’s Card. ​
  • Proof of negative TB test. ​

Preferences:

  • Two years of experience teaching preschool. ​
  • Early childhood education degree (BA or AA preferred). ​
  • 30 hours of STARS training completed. ​
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus. ​
