Opportunity DescriptionSeattle Colleges District Office is looking to hire an Advisor to the Chancellor and Presidents.
Salary and TimelineSalary Range for this position is $123,569 to $170,641 annually (depending on experience). Opportunity is open until filled; first review of materials will begin January 26th, 2026.
Position SummaryUnder the leadership of the Chancellor and campus Presidents, the Advisor to the Chancellor and Presidents is responsible for advising on major capital projects and the district-wide real estate portfolio and projects. The Advisor works collaboratively with the College’s leadership team and members of the College community to formulate policies and procedures to assure the effective operation of the College, with a particular emphasis on administrative services and operations.
In collaboration and consultation with the relevant College and District administrators, the Advisor advises on the vision and leadership in the areas of capital projects and space utilization. This position reports to the Chancellor of Seattle Colleges. The Advisor shall guide the identification of surplus real property (land and buildings) and manage the disposition, ground leasing or redevelopment of property deemed surplus to the long-range plans of the District and its colleges.
The Advisor is the policy lead on issues of sustainability and energy conservation for the district and its three colleges. The Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing policies for Seattle Colleges. As assigned, the Advisor will coordinate with capital projects staff and provide administrative oversight of facilities planning, capital development and improvements. In addition, and as directed, this position supports the colleges in their development of college facilities master plans, capital budgets and biannual state capital appropriation requests.
