Job Overview
Seattle Public Schools invites candidates to apply for the Middle School Athletics Coach position for the 2025/26 school year. The role supports student athletic programs and can be combined with a classroom teaching or other work assignment. Compensation is based on student participation numbers and provided as a seasonal stipend.
ResponsibilitiesCoaches the designated sport under the direction of the Head Coach; assists with the Varsity team; coaches the JV (2nd) and/or JVC (3rd) team; provides guidance, instruction, and experience to enhance students’ personal, physical, and social growth and development; reports to the Building Principal/Athletic Administrator and the Building Athletic Director; receives direction from the Head Coach.
QualificationsCompleted fingerprints, first aid, and CPR certifications are required. Costs related to these requirements are the responsibility of the candidate.
