• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
• Speech‑Language Pathologist Certification.
• Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA) with appropriate endorsement.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.

Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location.
Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset.
Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 36 to 40 hours per week.
Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum‑based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

$2,700 – $2,880 weekly DOE.
